Virgin Media has named Alison Brie as one of their “Faces to watch in 2012″!

2012 will see movie audiences finally get a look at what TV audiences have known for ages: that Alison Brie is one of the funniest, coolest, cutest actresses in town. Community and Mad Men geeks can indulge their fantasy of taking Brie up the aisle as she stars in not one but two wedding-flavoured flicks this year: The Five-Year Engagement and Save The Date. We’ve RSVP’d already.

The premiere of “Save The Date” at the Sundance Film Festival has been announced! The film premieres Sunday, January 22nd at 2:30pm at the Library Center Theatre, the premiere is already sold out.

The Paley Center for Media today announced the full lineup of honorees for the upcoming PaleyFest: The William S. Paley Television Festival, with the latest additions including freshman series New Girl and Revenge, as well as returning favorites The Office, Castle, The Vampire Diaries and Community. These series will join previously announced honorees Two and a Half Men, Sons of Anarchy, Once Upon a Time, Mad Men, Modern Family, and American Horror Story, which will each take part in the Center’s annual two-week celebration of great television at the Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills March 2 – 14, 2012.

Today’s announcement coincides with the launch of the festival’s new website www.paleyfest.org that will serve as the official destination for ongoing PaleyFest announcements, exclusive content including photos and video clips from festival events both current and classic, festival merchandise, and ticket sales.

PaleyFest has become a destination event for the worldwide community of television fans who gather each year to connect with the stars and creators of their favorite series during interactive panel sessions and premiere screenings. The festival underscores The Paley Center for Media’s ongoing commitment to increase the public’s understanding of media and its growing significance in our lives through its various public and industry programs, exhibitions, and media preservation initiatives.

Individual event tickets will go on sale to Paley Center members beginning Jan. 13, 2012 and to the general public on Jan. 15, 2012. NBC entertainment chief Bob Greenblatt on Friday kicked off the broadcast networks’ segment of the Television Critics Association winter press tour in Pasadena by fielding questions about Community‘s MIA status from the midseason schedule, and questions about the acclaimed if undersampled comedy’s long-term fate.

First and foremost, Greenblatt made clear that Community “has not been cancelled,” and will return to the lineup at a to-be-determined date this spring.

“When I announced our midseason changes last fall and took Community off the schedule, I failed to explicitly say that it would be back,” he explained. “I want to expel any notion that it is just disappearing off the schedule.”

For now, it remains unclear where exactly where our friends at Greendale will call home when they return to the lineup. “Community was moved to 8 o’clock a couple of years ago, and that’s an incredibly competitive time slot now on Thursday,” Greenblatt said, candidly. “I’m really curious to see what something else will do there. We have a really tight schedule with comedies [so it's] really going to be a matter of looking at what happens with the six comedies we’ve got at midseason.”

As for any Season 4 prospects for Community, Greenblatt says it’s far too soon to tell. “We’re just going to look at the success of what pilots yield, what the scheduling needs are and make that decision closer to the upfront [in May].”
